5th Workshop of the National Library of Chemical Compounds (NLCC) POL-OPENSCREEN (1)

Dear Colleagues,

We are pleased to announce the next, 5th Workshop of the National Library of Chemical Compounds (NLCC) POL-OPENSCREEN.

The workshop will take place on May 14th and 15th, 2026 (Thursday and Friday). We invite all of you and your colleagues and coworkers to submit presentations, 30 minutes will be allocated for each. Presentation topics are optional, but they should preferably be related to the search for new drugs and other bioactive compounds. Presentations based on your work are welcome, as well as review presentations addressing important and current issues in our field. We would be grateful for sending the presentation titles by the end of March, if possible. Abstracts of the presentations (up to 200 words) will be included in the conference materials. We would appreciate submitting abstracts by April 15th; The template for the abstracts will be sent soon.

For those interested in visiting the NLCC (www.pol-openscreen.pl), located at the IMB PAS headquarters, transportation and a tour during the scheduled break will be arranged.

As before, the program includes 2-3 plenary lectures. One of the speakers will be Jordi Quintana, President of the Spanish Drug Discovery Network (SDDN), an expert in the pharmaceutical industry, biotechnology, drug design, and research within public-private partnerships.

Participation in the Workshop is free of charge; the organizers will also cover travel costs in Poland and hotel and accommodation costs in Łódź. More organizational details will be sent soon. We invite all of you to participate!
