IMPULSE – a new project within EU-OPENSCREEN

calendar_today14.11.2024

EU-OPENSCREEN ERIC is a consortium offering a unique research infrastructure in the field of chemical biology, including both libraries of chemical compounds and access to a network of screening laboratories. The consortium provides high-quality medical chemistry services, both high-throughput (HTS) and specialized screening, to users in academia and industry. The Institute of Medical Biology of Polish Academy of Sciences is a Leader of the POL-OPENSCREEN consortium, which is part of the EU-OPENSCREEN consortium and a partner of the Consortium since 2019.

The aim of the IMPULSE (IMProving User experience, Long-term sustainability and Services of EU-OPENSCREEN) project is to improve and develop services offered by institutions of the EU-OPENSCREEN member countries. The IMPULSE initiative is a response to the increasing complexity of processes related to the search for new drugs. The project involves 25 partners from 10 countries. The implementation of this project is possible thanks to financial support from the European Union under the HORIZON EUROPE program.

The project opening meeting, which took place in Berlin on April 9, 2024, was attended by prof. Zbigniew Leśnikowski, prof. Agnieszka Olejniczak and prof. Jarosław Dziadek from the Institute of Medical Biology of Polish Academy of Sciences.
